Our Story

Stonehaven was founded in 2005 by Graeme and Chris Gedye, with a commitment to providing meaningful, high-quality memorials for families in Gisborne and beyond.

Graeme brings over 30 years of experience in the monumental industry, and together with Chris, has built a business grounded in trust, craftsmanship, and genuine care for the families they serve.

Over the years, we’ve formed strong relationships within our community. Much of our work comes through word-of-mouth recommendations—something we’re incredibly proud of.

Today, we continue to serve not only the Gisborne region, but families across New Zealand and internationally.
